At home with our Founder

As a now mum of two, we sat down with our founder Rach to talk about all things baby number two. What she's wearing, what she's learning, and how she's finding the beautiful, messy, magnificent reality of life with a newborn and a toddler..

How are you making time for yourself right now?

This is something I’m trying to be more intentional about this time around. I am getting out for walks, trying to do small bits of self care and taking small moments to do things that I love, whilst also being realistic about the realities of having a newborn and not trying to strive to do things that are simply unachievable for me right now, like getting back into running straight away.


Also, just asking for help! I’m sure if you talk to any other mums, we feel so guilty asking for help, but its such a short season and it won’t last forever and we need to lean on our support people more.
What are you wearing 3 months postpartum?

I’m trying my best to not reach for athleisure wear everyday and get properly dressed for the day. My go-to’s are easy, comfortable and functional clothes that I feel good in.


I’ve been living in Sets and Dresses, because they are so easy to throw on and go. The Esta set and the new long sleeve  Axel Set are some of my favs. Also, can’t go wrong with our baby tee’s!

What was a must have in the hospital bag this time round

You always overpack the first time, so this time I just wanted comfortable, really accessible clothes to help while I was trying navigating the breastfeeding journey again with my baby. But comfort over anything!

What have you learnt second time around that you wish you could tell yourself with your first?

To just focus on your own baby. The noise and contradiction you see on Instagram is honestly hilarious. One person says one thing, another says the complete opposite. Tune it out, learn your baby’s vibe and listen to what they’re trying to tell you.

Every mother has a version of this story. The mess, the magic, and everything in between. This Mother's Day, we hope you get a moment that feels like yours.

A coffee that stays hot.

A sleep in.

A morning where nobody needs anything for just a little while. 

And if none of those happen, because let's be honest, they often don't, we hope you at least feel seen. Celebrated. Held, even just a little, in the chaos and beautiful journey of Motherhood.
