The ultimate Vogue editor’s guide to maternity dressing

If someone is ever going to tell us what to wear, please let it be VOGUE.

Digital director of VOGUE Australia, Francesca Wallace, is currently pregnant and has given the public a full spiel on everything maternity wear - and yes, she mentions one of our best-selling styles

Francesca talks about the importance of building a maternity capsule wardrobe and the top 8 styles you should have in your closet - with our Adjustable Zadie Pants being a top MUST-HAVE when it comes to suit pants.

“A pair of suit or silk pants which work in an office environment and can be mixed and matched with different shirts. My favourite wide-legged suit pants have been from Australian brand Apéro, which does an adjustable waistline suit pant that you could wear postpartum as well, since it’s fully adjustable. I’ve gotten a lot of wear out of these babies.” — Francesca Wallace, digital director.

Francesca's Styling Tips

Obviously it wouldn’t be a Vogue article without some styling reccos. Below, Francesca lets us in on how she is styling her own Zadie pants.

“I have been utterly obsessed with…my Apéro suit pants, which have an adjustable waist. I’ll pair those with either a tight fitting T-shirt which meets the pants right at the seam, or a fitted collared shirt. Then, I’ve been wearing my Harris Tapper Tilmans blazer or jacket over the top to give the outfit something interesting.”
